Jennifer Aniston Gets Set Visit From Courteney Cox

Wednesday, Aug 4, 2010

Jennifer Aniston got a surprise visit from her BFF while at work this morning (August 4) in Los Angeles!

During a break in filming her work-in-progress, Horrible Bosses, Jen had a quick catch-up session with former Friends co-star Courteney Cox.

Horrible Bosses and Courteney’s ABC drama Cougar Town are on the same lot, so Courteney just stopped by before heading to her own set,” a source exclusively tells JustJared.com. “Looks like Jen’s cameo on Cougar Town is going to happen, everybody’s right next door from each other!”

Courteney also stopped by to chat with Jen’s co-star Jason Bateman! (Jen and Jason have already starred alongside each other in 2006’s The Break-Up and The Switch, out August 20.)

Cougar Town Co-Star Busy Philipps Talks Courteney Cox

Wednesday, Jul 28, 2010

Courteney’s “Cougar Town” co-star Busy Philipps recently done an interview and made a mention about Courteney. Read it below

Now having the last laugh, Busy is riding high as Courteney Cox’s gal pal and assistant Laurie Keller in Cougar Town. Cox plays divorced mother and real estate agent Jules Cobb, who is trying to get back into the dating world. Philipps is the younger, party hearty friend helping her get her groove back. Ultimately the two get into all sorts of mischief along the way. This scenario is a major turn for Philipps, who is enjoying co-starring on a brand new series after years of playing solid supporting roles.

“Courteney Cox sets the bar really high for the rest of us,” says Busy sincerely.

“She’s just so lovely, funny, sweet and incredibly generous. I remember when I got the show another actress friend of mine was being snotty about it and said ‘well how are you ever going to be allowed be funny on that show because Courteney is the lead.’ And that’s just not the case, she wants everyone to shine in their own way.”

Can You Imagine Courteney Cox Hawking Swimming Pools?

Thursday, Jul 15, 2010

If fate’s hands had veered in just a slightly different direction, Courteney Cox could have been a swimming pool saleswoman instead of the famous actress she is today.

Cox, who is the cover girl for the August Issue of In Style, told the magazine that’s the career path her father suggested she follow right before she got her breakthrough role on Friends and was almost broke.

“You have always been a great salesman. I think it’s time you come home and sell swimming pools,” he told her.

Fortunately, for us the star of Cougar Town didn’t take that advice. She said she’d likely never quit acting, but if she did she has other interests.

“I wanted to be an architect, and I wish I knew more about landscaping. I think I’d be a good therapist too.”

I bet she’d be a great therapist! I can absolutely imagine spilling all my troubles to her, can’t you?

I was also thrilled to hear her admit to using Botox. It’s nice to know that even she of the perfect porcelain skin needs a little help.

“Aging gracefully is one thing, but trying to slow it down is another. Sometimes I use Botox. Compared to most, I use it very sparingly,” she told In Style. “One time I did too much, though. I feel weird if I can’t move my face, and that one time I overdid it, I felt trapped in my own skin.”

What career do you most see Courteney Cox in if she wasn’t an actress?

Courteney Cox on Botox and Aging Gracefully

Thursday, Jul 15, 2010

Courtney CoxWhat’s your take on Botox?

“Aging gracefully is one thing, but trying to slow it down is another. Sometimes I use Botox. Compared to most, I use it very sparingly. One time I did too much, though. I feel weird if I can’t move my face, and that one time I overdid it, I felt trapped in my own skin. I don’t have a problem with any of that stuff; if it makes you feel better about yourself and it’s done properly, then fine.”

Was there a moment in your career where you almost gave it all up for something else?

“No—although there was a time when my dad thought I should get out. It was right before I got Friends, and I probably had a month to go before I was completely broke. I used to add up all my money in the bank and divide it by months or weeks depending on how bad things were. At one point my dad called me and said, “You have always been a great salesman. I think it’s time you come home and sell swimming pools.” I don’t think I would ever quit acting, but there are other things I am interested in. I wanted to be an architect, and I wish I knew more about landscaping. I think I’d be a good therapist too.” (Photographed for InStyle by Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton)
