Avon Spotlight Commercial

Sunday, Mar 29, 2009

Yay Finally! Im trying to download the video myself right now,so as soon as I do Ill add it to the video section adn will post some caps but for now Watch it here

The tag line is “Spotlight – Step Into It.” The idea behind the fragrance being that every woman is a star in her own right.

The choice of Courtney Cox as spokeswoman is interesting to me. She’s beautiful and she’s successful, but she’s also known for being a friend – both off and on-screen. Plus, she’s not a kid, which is something that I appreciate, because I’m in my 40s as well.  She’s glamorous, but also grounded, which is what most women aspire to be.

“I’m also in the spotlight as a wife and mother. This fragrance is about feeling good about yourself and being confident when you step into your own unique roles — and into the spotlight.”

David Arquette Says He Launched Fashion Label “Propr” Because Wife Courteney Cox Hates His Clothes

Wednesday, Mar 25, 2009

Courteney Cox’s husband has launched a fashion line – because she hates his clothes. Actor David Arquette – who has teamed up with singer Ben Harper and David Bedwell to launch Propr – consulted Courteney about the designs because she is always telling him to wear something “more attractive.”

David explained: “We see what jeans she likes – we look at different jeans and fits. She wanted me to wear a jean that’s tighter. My butt always hangs out of my clothes, so she wanted something a little more attractive.”

The “Never Been Kissed” star is making Propr a family affair as he has also asked the couple’s four-year-old daughter Coco for tips.

He added: “Coco was at the fashion show and she wants to be a model now. We make her little couture dresses – she’s had a couple made. It’s great screen-printing little kids shirts.”

Despite seeking his family’s advice for the line, David insists Propr will only producing garments he likes.

He added in a MySpace Celebrity video: “I just love clothing, and that’s sort of what bonded all of us to want to do this. We all have a really deep love of clothing. We’re passionate about it. We want to make really comfortable clothes that people are comfortable in.”

‘Cougar Town’ Cast Filling Up

Tuesday, Mar 3, 2009

Cougar Town, Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence’s buzzworthy half-hour comedy pilot starring Friends alum Courteney Cox, is busily beefing up its cast. If greenlit for a season, the series will follow Cox’s 40-year-old character, the mother of a teenage son who begins actively dating again when she becomes single.

Recently added to the cast of the highly anticipated series is Dawson’s Creek and Freaks and Geeks alum Busy Philipps, most recently seen in a recurring role on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. As a series lead, she’ll play the younger woman who hangs out with Cox’s character.

Following on that news was the addition of Lawrence’s real-life wife Christa Miller (Scrubs, The Drew Carey Show) as Cox’s other best friend, as well as former Aliens in America star Dan Byrd, the lucky guy playing Cox’s son. I don’t see the resemblance there at all, but Byrd is talented and I trust that Lawrence knows what he’s doing.

Exclusive: Busy Philipps Cast as Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town Partner-In-Crime

Friday, Feb 27, 2009

Die hard Scrubs fans lamenting the May 6th finale of their favorite show, during which J.D. will exit the building for good, have been holding on to one silver lining as of late: Executive Producer Bill Lawrence and his team are already hard at work on a new comedy starring Courteney Cox, which I first told you about back in October. Casting for Cougar Town is currently underway and sources close to the project tell me Dawson’s Creek alum Busy Philipps has landed a leading role, playing Cox’s character’s younger partner-in-crime.

As a Busy Philipps fan, I like this thought. You?

UPDATE: ABC has indeed confirmed to me that Busy Philipps will be playing Laurie, best friend to Cox’s character Julia.
