Courteney Partners with Dermalogica

Courteney has partnered with skincare brand Dermalogica! Courteney made an appearance and surprised 200+ students at Future Industry Professionals Day. The first photos from the campaign are now in the gallery.

Courteney Cox’s Dermalogica Partnership Was Decades in the Making

When Courteney Cox launched her home care brand, Homecourt, the connection to her Friends character Monica Geller was clear. But as she enters the skincare arena as the new face of Dermalogica, only fans of the show with keen eyes and even sharper memories will pick up on this overlooked connection.

Cox, a longtime fan of the brand, was first introduced to the line of products while filming Friends. But it gets better. They were even used as props in Monica and Rachel’s bathroom.

“There are certain products that you love because they smell great and are so natural and fresh, but I want mine to be like that and be backed by science. That’s why I’ve always loved Dermalogica,” Cox tells BAZAAR.com exclusively.

Ahead Cox shares her top shelf beauty picks, the skincare advice she gives to her daughter, and more of her beauty wisdom.

Courteney Cox Reflects on ‘Friends,’ Her Career, and Yes, Prince Harry Doing Mushrooms at Her House: ‘I Definitely Wasn’t Passing Them Out’

From the start, Courteney Cox was different. She was from Alabama — a place where, she recalls, people were steelworkers or doctors — and didn’t know anything about show business. So, she sought it out. Never in her wildest dreams did she think it’d lead her to a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, to be unveiled Feb. 27.
The summer after she graduated high school, Cox moved to New York City and began modelling.

“I got a job right away and I thought, that was easy,” she recalls. Then the changes came. “It was a makeover. They took the Alabama fresh face and made a little funky style and it was really fun. They changed everything about me — they said I was Kentucky-born and they changed my last name to Myles. I don’t know why! But I never thought that when I was 18 it would lead to a career that I love and have really learned so much … I just kept doing things that led me to something else and I just kept learning and learning and learning.”

She never imagined a time when she’d land a leading role on the biggest show on TV and star in all 236 episodes. She didn’t see a time when she’d be a seven-time Screen Actors Guild Award nominee, one of which she won. Cox wasn’t aware that when she took on the part of a horror movie “bitch,” as she describes it, she’d hold on to the role for nearly three decades.

But that all happened, thanks to her hard work.

‘Shining Vale’ Creatives Tease Courteney Cox’s Turn In New Starz Series

DEADLINE – The creators and stars of Shining Vale gathered at TCA on Thursday to tease their genre-bender, which is set to debut early next year, noting that its star Courteney Cox delivers a performance unlike any we’ve seen from her before.

“This character is…just rich and deep and I get to go into places I have never been before, and be raw and vulnerable,” the actress said. “I think I’ve worked harder on this than anything else, and want to continue to because I’m obsessed with it. I think it’s just unique in every way.”

The matchup, timed to the 25th anniversary of Friends, involves just two of the celebrity guests on tap for the show’s debut season. The others are: Chelsea Handler; Chris Noth; Oscar Nunez; Melissa Peterman; Rick Fox; Lea Thompson; Mary McCormack; Willie Garson; Natalie Morales; Loni Love; Penn Jillette; Alison Sweeney; Jamie Kennedy; Tisha Campbell; Dr. Drew Pinsky; Margaret Cho; Jane Lynch; Pete Holmes; Val Chmerkovsky; and WWE wrestlers Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Apollo Crews and Ali.

Meredith Vieira is the host of 25 Words. While she gained acclaim for her work in news and documentary, Vieira is best known to most viewers as the former co-host of Today and The View and solo host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Kudrow’s appearance is not a complete coincidence. She helped develop 25 Words or Less, along with producing partner Dan Bucatinsky, Mary McCormack, Michael Morris. The show runner is Michael Canter and Bruce Sterten created the 25 Words or Less board game as well as another popular game, Taboo.

Stephen Brown, EVP Programming and Development for Fox Television Stations, called the show “a great break from the depressing news of the day. It’s fast, smart, funny, and led by the best host in television, Meredith Vieira. She is the master at corralling big celebrity personalities and driving a game that’s fun to watch and play.”

While Fox Television Stations provide the foundation of 25 Words‘ distribution, the show will also air on stations owned by Sinclair, Gray, Hearst, CBS, Scripps and Tribune.
