“Scream” actor David Arquette is going to sleep in a box above Madison Square Garden to raise money for the hungry.The 37-year-old, who’s married to “Friends” star Courteney Cox, will stay in a Plexiglas box above the Garden’s marquee Tuesday and Wednesday to raise $250,000 for Feeding America, America’s largest domestic hunger relief charity.
Is he too good to actually come down to street level and really live like a homeless person??? He is only paying lip service to it since he is only going to be in a plexiglass blax for 8 hours a day!!! Why don’t he actually try being homeless 24/7 for 3 months??? But I guess as a big name fancy rich actor, he is too good to actually live as a homeless person??? Try having to sleep on concrete and wonder if you will wake up with some stranger standing over you. Try having rocks thrown at you by passerby. Try being freezing, wet and starving and not know where your next meal is coming from. Here is a thought — try being harassed by passerby and cops because you are considered to be an “eyesore” since no one wants to look at you!!! As I stated before, merely staying in a plexiglass box above street level for a mere 8 hours a day does NOT give you the experience of being homeless. I could go on and on but I hope you get my point since I am a former homeless person and all of the above actually happened to me!!!
what do you expect? that he is getting homeless because so many people are? If you ask me it’s never good enough what some celebs do, for some people. At least he is doing something what others would never do.
