On ‘The Late Show with David Letterman,’ Dave risks potential personal injury by scaling a ladder to the Ed Sullivan Theater’s balcony and presenting Courtney Cox’s mother with flowers for her 75th birthday. We knew Dave was a romantic at heart.
Letterman Scales Ladder for Courteney Cox’s Mom on ‘Late Show’
Courteney Cox and Reese Witherspoon sizzle on girls’ night out
The girls both looked stunning at an Avon gala in New York last night
Courteney Cox and Reese Witherspoon both attended a benefit evening for the Avon foundation for women, and looked simply stunning.
Reese blew everyone away with her three-tone strapless number and strappy black stilettos.
We are always in awe that she manages to carry off that flawless with minimal effort look, with her chic and simple make-up and perfect blonde tresses.
Courteney also went for a strapless number, opting for a flowy below-the-knee layered dress.
She added sparkle to her outfit with her dainty necklace and glitzy bracelet, and we are seriously loving her black platform heels.
Courteney Cox Talks Bringing Her ‘Friends’ To ‘Cougar Town’
Lisa Kudrow is heading to “Cougar Town,” Access Hollywood has confirmed.
Courteney Cox told TV Guide that her former TV “Friend” has been asked to appear on the show during November sweeps, and on Monday night, a rep for ABC confirmed to Access the deal has been finalized.
“If it all works out, she’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me,” Courteney told TV Guide. “She’s the best in town at what she does and I become addicted.”
The pairing of Lisa and Courteney will be the second time the two have reunited for a project in recent months.
In June, Courteney played the part of a psychic on Lisa’s Internet series, “Web Therapy.”
And Lisa isn’t the only “Friend” Courteney has approached for her hit ABC comedy.
She told TV Guide she also asked her former “Friends” husband, Matthew Perry, to appear as another love interest.
“I did ask Matthew if he’d play my boyfriend on the show,” she said. “He thought it was a little too much after Chandler and Monica.”
Courteney has also mulled over the idea of bringing Jennifer Aniston to her show about a single mom who starts dating younger men.
“I’d love for her to be on the show, too,” Courteney said. “Obviously we can’t cast her so close to Lisa’s appearance but if there’s a great part for her, I’d send it right away. She’s younger than me so she can’t play my contemporary even though she did on Friends, but I think we can find something great for her to play.”
It’s official: Lisa Kudrow headed to ‘Cougar Town’
It’s not an actual Friends reunion, but I’ll take it: Lisa Kudrow has signed on to guest star opposite ex-Friend Courteney Cox on Cougar Town, an ABC spokesperson confirms.
“She’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though [she’s] mean to me,” Cox told tvguidemagazine.com.
The Cox-Kudrow reunion episode will shoot next month and air in early 2010.

Make-A-Wish Foundation and pediped Launch ‘Stars for a Wish’ Auction

More than 60 celebrity parents have signed on to the Stars for a Wish initiative — a joint effort by pediped and the Make-A-Wish Foundation — by signing baby shoes for auction. Beginning today, you can bid on pedipeds autographed by familiar Celebrity Baby Blog faces like Courteney Cox-Arquette, Halle Berry, Tiger Woods and Jessica Alba.
Bids start at $250 per pair and each winner will receive their shoes in their choice of a cherry-finished shadow box or a clear acrylic box complete with an engraved plaque.
Although the opening bid is steep, organizers have an ambitious goal of raising $25,000 overall. Each and every dollar will go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps grant the wishes of children facing life-threatening medical conditions.
Angela Edgeworth, president and co-founder of pediped, says that the response from celebrities was “overwhelming.” She notes,
“Now it’s all up to the public to bid high for these shoes so they not only receive a beautifully presented keepsake from their favorite celebrity, but more importantly, so they will be helping children.”
The auction runs until Nov. 5.
