Walt Disney Pictures has announced that Adam Sandler’s ‘Bedtime Stories’ will hit store shelves on DVD and Blu-Ray April 7. The film stars Adam Sandler, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Lucy Lawless, Guy Pearce, and Keri Russel.

Director Wes Craven has addressed the mounting rumor circulating around whether or not he will direct ““. Talking to Bloody-Disgusting, the creator of many horror films confessed on what it would be needed to bring him back to helm the fourth film for the popular ’90s horror movie franchise.
“It would take it being really as good a script as the first one was,” the 69-year-old explained, adding further, “and the pay day reflects what I’ve done for that company and what Ive gone through on Cursed (laughs).” When pressed further on the possible storylines, he insisted, “I don’t know his ideas at all. But they have made a deal with Kevin [Williamson] to write.”
“Scream 4” is intended to be a younger version of the “Scream” movies. In earlier reports, it was suggested that several of the original main characters, , and , would make their returns as cameos. Kevin Williamson, the writer of the first two “Scream” films, has also been reported to be writing the draft.
ABC greenlit a slew of pilots on Wednesday, including the Courteney Cox-Bill Lawrence project “Cougar Town,” a project starring Kelsey Grammer and one from Cedric the Entertainer.
Four other comedies, including a remake of the British show “No Heroics,” also have earned pilot orders over the last couple days, the showbiz trade papers report.
Here’s a rundown:
“Cougar Town” stars Cox as a 40ish woman with a teenage son who finds herself single and dating again. The show grew out of Cox’s guest stint on “Scrubs” earlier this season. Lawrence wrote the pilot with fellow “Scrubs” scribe Kevin Biegel.

On the eve of Barack Obama‘s inauguration more than 50 celebrities have teamed up on MySpace to record videos making a “pledge of service” to the next president of the United States.
Among the celebrities who recorded videos for The Presidential Pledge project, sponsored by MySpace and actor Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Media, are singers Sean P. “Diddy” Combs and actresses Cameron Diaz and Eva Longoria.
Others making pledges include Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, actresses Marissa Tomei, Courtney Cox Arquette, Lucy Lui and Laura Linney and actors Jason Bateman and Tobey Maguire.
The videos, which are available at myspace.com/presidentialpledge, were directed, produced and edited by Kutcher’s wife, actress Demi Moore.
Viewers are also invited to record their own personal pledge and upload it to the site.
“The ultimate goal is to motivate the MySpace community to create their own pledges to help bring about the change inspired by Obama’s Campaign,” MySpace said in a statement.
“The Presidential Pledge is a platform for people across the nation and throughout the world to make a first person commitment of service to our new President, articulating a specific intent or action to become an agent of positive change,” said Kutcher.
Among the pledges is Combs’s commitment to “turn the lights off,” “Desperate Housewives” star Longoria’s promise to “plant 500 trees.” “Friends” star Cox Arquette for her part pledges to “help end hunger in America.”
