Jennifer Aniston’s publicist has dismissed reports the actress is working with her former co-star Courteney Cox to bring their hit TV show “Friends” to the big screen.
The pals were alleged to be writing a top-secret script to transform the hit sitcom into a movie, six years after the series wrapped, according to the National Enquirer.
The publication also claimed Aniston was poised to direct the film, and is currently “campaigning” to get the project approved by the series’ creators and her former co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.
However, a rep for the actress has shrugged off the rumors, telling GossipCop.com, “There is no secret ‘Friends’ script nor is Jennifer campaigning with the creators.”
