ABC announces ‘Cougar Town’ webisodes
ABC has announced a new web-based spinoff from comedy-drama Cougar Town.
The webisodes, entitled ‘Andy’s Dreams’, will focus on the character of Andy Torres (Ian Gomez) as he takes a daily siesta.
Each episode will be comprised of one of Andy’s dreams, which take place in “an escapist and over-the-top fantasy world”.
A new installment will premiere on the show’s official ABC website each Wednesday evening for the next six weeks.
Cougar Town – which also stars Christa Miller as Andy’s overbearing wife Ellie – continues on Wednesdays at 9.30/8.30c on ABC.

Jules wants to help Bobby gain his confidence back and thinks fixing up his boat and getting it back in the water will do the trick, Meanwhile, Ellie looks to dig up some dirt on Grayson and discovers a hilarious fact about his past, Kirsten grows jealous of the obvious connection between Travis and Laurie, and Bobby tries to qualify for a golf tournament with Andy as his caddie.

ABC Announces Midseason Schedule, Bumps Cougar Town for Mr. Sunshine
Matthew Perry is returning to the small screen, and he’s temporarily shoving aside a former Friend in the process.
The sitcom star will premiere Mr. Sunshine on Wednesday, February 9, as ABC shelves Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town until April 13. Perry is joined in this comedy – which centers around his job as the manager of a sports arena – by Andrea Anders, James Lesure, Nate Torrence and Allison Janney.
Happy Endings will also premiere on this date. It stars Elisha Cuthbert and Zach Knighton as an engaged couple that breaks up and must co-exist within the same circle of friends.
